About Divino Resorts — Boutique Luxury Hotels in Santorini & Gili Air

Divino Resorts is a boutique luxury hospitality group with properties in two of the world's most distinctive island destinations — Santorini, Greece, and Gili Air, Lombok, Indonesia. Our portfolio spans three intimate hotels, two fine dining restaurants under the Kanzen Ocean Fusion brand, and Oniro Sacred Wellness — a holistic spa and retreat centre on Gili Air.

We were built on a straightforward belief: that the best hotel experience is not about scale, but about the quality of what surrounds you — the landscape, the people, and the feeling that a place was made for you. Every Divino property is small by design, so that every guest is known by name and every detail is attended to.

Our Story

Divino Resorts began in Santorini with a single property — Divino Caldera — perched above the volcanic caldera in Akrotiri. The idea was uncomplicated: take one of the most dramatic landscapes on earth and build something that lets guests fully inhabit it, rather than simply observe it from a hotel corridor.

From Santorini, the group expanded to Gili Air, Indonesia — one of Southeast Asia's most beloved car-free islands — where Divino Gili Air opened as a boutique resort combining tropical accommodation, destination dining, and holistic wellness in one location.

Today, Divino Resorts operates across two continents, but the properties remain deliberately small. Divino Caldera and Divino Suites together offer fewer than twenty suites in Santorini. Divino Gili Air has twenty-two rooms on Gili Air. That scale is a choice, not a constraint — it is what allows the level of service and personal attention that defines a Divino stay.

What We Stand For

Three principles guide how Divino Resorts is run — in both destinations, across every property and brand.

Mindful Hospitality

We keep our properties small so that service stays personal. Our teams are trained to anticipate needs rather than simply respond to them. Every guest interaction — from the initial booking to the morning of departure — is treated as part of a single, continuous experience.

Harmony with Nature

Both Santorini and Gili Air are places where the natural environment is the primary draw. We take that seriously — in how we build, how we source, and how we operate. Divino Resorts uses natural materials where possible, works with local artisans and food producers, and is committed to reducing plastic use and waste across all properties.

Intentional Living

The Divino experience is not designed to be optimised. It is designed to be felt. We create spaces where slowing down is easy, where the view from your terrace demands your full attention, and where the most valuable thing we offer is simply time — unhurried, uninterrupted, and genuinely yours.

Sustainability at Divino

Divino Resorts operates in two island environments that are as fragile as they are beautiful. Santorini's volcanic ecosystem and Gili Air's coral reef system both require active stewardship, not passive appreciation.

Across both destinations we reduce single-use plastics, source food and materials locally where the supply chain allows, and design our properties with natural materials that integrate into — rather than impose on — their surroundings. We partner with local farmers, artisans, and activity providers in both Santorini and Gili Air, because the communities that make these islands liveable are the same communities that make them worth visiting.
